Custom Software Solution’s Board of Directors is comprised of three Directors and three Advisors to the Board.
As a fourth-generation insurance professional managing Andrew Agencies Ltd. in rural Manitoba, Scott realized the need for a fully integrated automation system in a broker’s office. In his role of President and CEO of Custom Software Solutions, Scott made the development of a true industry SEMCI solution a reality. Scott provides overall strategic leadership and management direction for Custom Software and, at the same time, he continues as President of Andrew Agencies Ltd., a family-owned brokerage business in Virden, Manitoba, since 1913. Over the past few years, Andrew Agencies Ltd. has grown to include 19 locations in MB, SK and AB, and provides an invaluable testing ground or “reality therapy” for the Custom Software product.
Craig has been involved with Custom Software since 1995 and is currently a Director. He began his career in the insurance industry in 1980 as claims adjuster for a government-owned and -operated insurance company. In 1987, he became a licensed broker and joined the family insurance operation in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Craig’s insurance knowledge and background have provided invaluable resources to the Custom Software team.
Don is former Chairman of Meyers Norris Penny LLP, a professional firm of chartered accountants and business advisors. He has sat on the Board and Audit Committees of a number of public companies. Donald Penny has been a pillar of his community for decades and is a Member of the Order of Canada.
Mark joined the Custom Software Board in March 2005. His career has spanned over 30 years in the Information, Communications and Technology, Engineering, and Venture Capital industries. For the last 18 years Mark has held senior executive roles, twice as President & CEO of two publicly traded technology companies. Mark has also served extensively on the Boards and Committees of several private and publicly held companies. Mark is a graduate Engineer and MBA (Finance) from the University of Manitoba.
Rick graduated from University of Manitoba in 1969 with an engineering degree. He has over 35 years of experience in the IT technology industry, during which time he held numerous sales, marketing, and senior management positions with IBM Canada. From March 2000 to November 2004, Rick was the COO of Momentum Healthware. Since November 2004, Rick has taken on a new role as Independent Consultant.
